The above said classes continued in the same campus till 1909. The present site was constructed in 1909 and was inaugurated by Governor Lieutenant Sir Luis Dane on 20th October 1909. Later on these classes were shifted to the newly constructed building named as Murray College on 27th October 1909 .The name of this building was attributed to Captain Murray. He was an Army Officer, posted at Sialkot Cantt at that time, who purchased Twelve and half acres of land from his personal savings and donated this land to the Government of Punjab for the purpose of an educational institution. The Principal was George Waugh (1891-1914) who admitted forty-four students in 1909 to this new building. The Intermediate Chemistry Laboratory was constructed in 1926 and The Pre-Engineering classes were started in the same year. From Oct 27, 1909 to 13th August 1947 the private Scotland management (William Scott1914-1923) and Rev. John Garett (1923-1947) employed, generally, those Lecturers in Chemistry who belonged to the religions of The Hindus and The Sikhs. At the time of independence (i.e., 14 . 08 . 1947), these teachers left for their homeland, i.e., India.
From 1947 to 1950, there was a shortage of Lecturers in Chemistry, because the candidates holding M.Sc. Chemistry qualification were scarcely available for the recruitment in this subject. So, some stop gap arrangement was made under Rev. D. L. Scott (1947-1956) to teach the Intermediate classes. The recruited staff was available, holding the academic credentials up to B.Sc. for the intermediate classes. The B.Sc. Classes in the subject of Chemistry were started in 1946. B.Sc. Chemistry laboratory was constructed in 1959 under the Principalship of R.C. Thomas (1956-1964). B.Sc. Chemistry Class and practical work was continued in this laboratory. Later on, a new B.Sc. Chemistry laboratory was constructed and the practical class work was shifted to this laboratory in 1969 under the Principalship of Dr.F.S. Khair Ulla (1964-1972).
