The Admission Policy is framed by the College Council. The Admissions are granted to the students to Govt. Murray College, Sialkot on the basis of merit. The admissions are granted by the Principal in SCIENCE and ARTS faculties on the recommendations of the Science and Arts Admission Committees, respectively. For M.A./M.Sc. Classes, the admissions are allowed by the Principal on the recommendations of The Board of Post-graduate Studies.
The Admissions are granted on the basis of academic record. Only merit is kept in view for allowing admissions.
The Admission Policy is framed by The College Council in the light of instructions of the Education Department, Government of the Punjab.
Granting admission to GMC is the sole prerogative of the Principal, Govt. Murray College, Sialkot, who is Head of the College Administration.
At the time of admissions to various classes, candidates seeking admission, are intimated through advertisements in the National Dailies. The admission to The Intermediate Classes is done on behalf of the BISE, Gujranwala. The students admitted to the College are registered with the BISE, Gujranwala. The Admissions of the Inter. students are governed by the rules and regulations of the BISE, Gujranwala.
B.A./B.Sc. students are admitted for their registration with the Punjab University, Lahore. B.A./B.Sc., and M.A./M.Sc. Students’ admissions and other related matters are governed by the Calendar of the Punjab University, Lahore.
At the time of admissions, the students are interviewed by the Admission Committee headed by the Principal.
